Hey everyone. I finally got to see the new plastic kettlebells. The quality of the materials and construction is very good. The design/shape of the larger ones within the set is not quite what I would've done.

I think the 18kg & 20kg handles are unmanageably thick. The 2-16kg ones are OK.

Because I don't like 'em, you get to score a bargain. The set consists of a 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20kg. Originally they were going to sell for R2475 (R22.50/kg). However, I have decided that the price will be changed. You pay for the 2-16kg, and get the 18kg & 20kg for free. Price for a complete set is R1650, so it works out at R15/kg.

Workouts - Logs
JM & WarmUp

Time for one of those looney workouts we do from time to time.
I told everyone we'd do the "Last Man Standing" workout. Do whatever exercise you want for a minimum of 1 minute. Then, optionally change hands and/or exercises... BUT... no resting between exercises. You just do the next one...and the next one...etc

I wanted to see if it was possible to do a 1 hour timed set without changing hands.
After the 1st 5 mins where I did SwL, CR, Cl, SwR, SwA... followed by... 60 mins of LC-R
Admittedly I only used a 12kg, but it was unbelieveably challenging to keep going.
I had to put the kettlebell in my left hands for a few seconds every 10 mins to add chalk.

I have not felt so wiped out by a workout before - this was HECTIC! I lost ~2kg doing it.
